I Just Can't Do It ! VSI and my siding manufacturers want me to drive almost 3000 nails in this siding, not up, not down, not to the left or right, but center of the nailing slot and then leave 1/32" gap (the thickness of a dime)between the wall and the siding ??? I don't even have a dime on me to check the gaping.
Could someone please read the VSI fastening instructions below for me again to make sure this is correct?
